Are Indians in safe hands?

Today's terrorist attacks once again forced me to think about India's future. When we got up in morning, a bomb blasted in every home when we came to know what happened in Mumbai.

It's one of the most violent attacks on India's soil which took the lives of more than 100 people, including foreigners and senior police officers also. The peaceful life of Mumbai faced an unexpected trauma when terrorists attacked on city using heavy machine guns, AK-47s and grenades etc. Places which became their central targets were: the hyper-busy CST rail terminus; the landmark Taj Hotel; and the luxury Oberoi Trident; the domestic airport at Santa Cruz etc.

Hundreds have been shot since morning, some of them are dead and some are fighting with death on hospital beds. As per the news came out yet, these attacks were only aimed to grab international attention. It's also being said that an unknown outfit Deccan Mujahideen has sent an email to new organizations claiming that it carried out the Mumbai attacks. Military is trying its best to combat the evil doers and some terrorists have been arrested. Latest news are saying that the terrorist who is arrested from Oberoi Trident is basically from Pakistan's Faridkot city. 7 terrorists have been killed till now and the rescue operation is still going.

Terrorists will be killed or arrested but who can help to reincarnate the ones who lost their previous lives throughout this whole incident.Would it ever be possible to have the same soldiers who died for the safety of their country. For how long, things will go like it and who will stop all this. I really don't know!

Barack Obama, America's Next King!

November 4, was the day when the Democratic Senator, Barack Obama, from Illinois defeated Republican Senator, John McCain and became the next President of America. It was really an unforgettable moment for those who're thinking that they'd never see it. Shortly after 10:00 PM in Chicago, finally the historical moment came and changed the meaning of presidency in AMerica for next five years.

It's very well observed that every US president meant a new era for American population and Barack OBama has set a milestone being the first African American USA president. After making a grand victory, Barack OBama walked out with his family (wife & daughters) to say a heartiest THANKS to a crowd of cheering people at Grant Park in Chicago.

Well, Obama's victory is a thing which everyone can proud on, without caring which nation and country we belong to. So, i am very happy for him and wish him tons of success!

Sourav Ganguli bids adieu to the world of Cricket

I know, the news is somehow very disturbing for Sourav Ganguli's fans. But it's true that the most successful captain of Indian Cricket Team is ready to shut the things down. The man, known as Bangali Tiger, has very recently announced that he would be retiring after the test series against Australia. If it happens, then it'd be an end to more than 16 years long career which has several milestones setting him on teh top of teh best Cricket players of world.

At a special press conference, Sourav himself says, "that I have informed my team-mates that this series would be my last,” . I hope, the team will gift him a trophy on his farewell.

Sourav Ganguly, the name doesn't need any identification. Ask a kid, he'll tell you who Sourav is. The man gave new meanings to Indian Cricket and it captained the Indian Cricket team in 147 ODIs. Ganguly, 36, has scored 6888 runs in 109 Tests including 15 magnificent tons. He also scored 11363 runs in 311 ODIs with 22 centuries at an outstanding average of 41.02.

It's not an end of his achievements and he's one of the only three players to complete treble of 10000 runs, 100 wickets and 100 catches in one-day internationals.

Well, he's decided to get retired, but i really don't want him to go. Hope, he changes his decision and we'll have our Cricket hero on ground for some more years.

Taare Zammen Par….. movie is in Oscar race!

If I’ve to describe this movie in a single sentence, my words will be…. “OMG! A great production”

Taare Zammen par did a good business in India and it liked by all age groups including kids, teenagers and senior citizens as well. As of now, movie has done another great job. It has been selected as India’s entry for Oscar 2009 in the category of best foreign film. Jury is very impressed with its perfection in all phases of movie making. Sunil Darshan, chairman of the 10 member jury set up says, 'Taare Zameen Par' is the final choice because it has a universal appeal and it has all the elements that make a good film, in terms of its production value, script, concept and story,'.

It’s produced by Aamir Khan Productions in an association with PVR pictures. The whole story line is about an eight year old school going and his teacher who brings out the best of the kid by getting him out of his predicament. Other Bollywood movies which Taare Zammen Par competed with to be the best one, were- "A Wednesday", "Rock On", "Mumbai Meri Jaan", 'Jodhaa Akbar", "Black & White etc.

The only one message delivered through movie...."every child is special".

Birthday Bills are Ringing as today is the Birthday of Akshay Kumar, one of the red-hot actors in Bollywood. The man turns 41st today..... Happy B'day SINGH IS KING!

Birthday is somehow very special this time as Akshay is very felicitous after the success of his
latest released block buster SINGH IS KING. On this movie, he appears as a Sikh young man who loves Katrina Kaif. Music hits are fantastic and if you've not watched this movie yet, then, i think you should immediately rush to teh theatre.

Today, Akshay is in Toronto along with his family so b'day celebrations are done Toronto. His movie has done very well in India and the man is en route to promote this movie in Toronto.

Hey! Honestly, he was my prince charming in my college days and i still remember his fantastic performance on movies as such KKK, Khiladi, Khaki, Mujse Shadi Karogi, and yeah especailly who can forget his role in Bhool Bhuliyaa, Bhagam Bhag, Namaste London, Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri.... and the list goes on.

Bihar Flood, the Life is just disrupted!

Floods in Bihar have made the lives of people very hard and nearly two and a million people in Bihar are homeless. However, rescue operations are underway but still all these efforts do seem very little in front of this very big tragedy.
Hundreds of Boats are put into the operation to get the people out of water but still there are thousand of people waiting for some help and praying to god for their lives. Villages in Bihar are just swamped by the uncontrollable waters of the Kosi river in the eastern part of teh state. Various state-run relief camps have been settled by the government and as per the governmental reports, their ultimate goal is to rescue the people and to house them in safe places.
Things are just burst off and people who are starnded, are trying to take shelter for themselves wherever they can. Whenever, you do ask a victim, he/she says with teary eyes that they had lost everything including their property, tehir kids, tehir families and also their homes. Every stomach is hungry and every eye looks for some eatables. That's teh life in Bihar after floods.
An estimation reveals that there are more than 250 thousand people residing in relief camps, and also doctors and medical are also being sent to provide them medical help.
August 18 was the day when the banks of a dam located on Kosi River burst and it caused the river to breach its embankments and to cahnge its course.
Although floods are a tragedy for more than 20 million people who are hoemless, food less, family less, but here's a community for which teh floods served like a bliss. These are teh prisoners from Khagaria Jail who got escaped utilizing the situation.

Tata Nano project may set in Punjab!

Well, the news which hit the newspapers today was, Bangal Govt.'s inability to provide land for this huge project. Initially, the Govt. declares to set TATA NANO project in Bangal and also they assured to provide enough land for the Project, but the protests and dharans being staged by the farmers in Bangal are showing something controversial. So, after considering the situations, Mr. Ratan Tata, Charmian of Tata Group has given an ultimatum to take the project outside of Bangal.


So, if it happens, then, Punjab may be the next state to have this project. During the rule of Congress, the above proposal was made to Mr. Ratan Tata and Punjab Govt. promised to provide 500 Acres land for Tata Nano project. Cities under consideration were Ropar, Nabah and Kapurthala. As per the statements made by Mr. Keval SIngh Dhillion, current Punjab Govt, is very much determined to improve the financial condition of the state and he also points out that if Tata NaNo project gets settled in Punjab, then umemployment will definitely be kicked out of teh state.

However,no officail announcement has been made, whether TATA NANO will remian in Bangal or not. But, it's appreant that if it happens, then, Punjab may have the honor to have this super project. Hope, Punjab's better future is not far away!

Big Boss, Jade Goody quits the show!

As per the latest news released, Jade Goody the reality show Big Brother and also the participant of Indian Version Big Boss is stricken off with the Womb Cancer, so this woman says bye to the show.

Jade comes to know about her condition on this Tuesday and may be jetting of to London for treatment, in the upcoming week. It's also in the news that she was hospitalized earlier this month.

Big Boss is hitting the TV with second season and the host this time is Bolloywood actress Shilpa Shetty. I hope you still remember the day when she was abused by Jade Goody in the 2007 series of Big Brother in UK. Her departure is somehow very heartbreaking for teh fans who're crazy to see her on show. Host Shilpa Shetty is also very much depressed by her quit, she utters, t is unbelievable, how life is so unpredictable and finds a way to distract and derail you from your plans. My prayers are with Jade and her family in this hour."

Ah!!! me too was one of teh eager guys to watch her on show, but as its not possible so we can just pray for her. God, please, do good with the ppl who deserve! May you live long, Goody, we want you back!

While working on some project in office today, i got the complete list of medals won by various countries at Beijing Olympics 2008 .... so decided to share it with you buddies!!

Who's on the top??? No doubts its China.... and next on the row is United States! These both are the countries which are super contenders to each other... who'll be winning.... most probably its CHINA!! Well, whether its a US or China... sports lovers are enjoying the Beijing events... no matter who wins who loses... here's the recent update of TOtal Medals-

OLYMPIC MEDAL COUNT-

1. CHINA has 43 Golds, 14 Silver, 19 Bronze and has a total no. 76
2. UNITED STATES with 26 Golds, 26 Silvers, 27 Bronze and total of 79.
3. GREAT BRITAIN gets 16 Golds, 9 Silvers, 8 Bronze and total 33.
4. AUSTRALIA grabs 11 Golds, 12 Silvers, 12 Bronze so totally 35.

Yeah, Records are made to be broken!!!!!

Nothing is impossible when you have the caliber to do the extraordinary. This is the strategy with Michael Phelps, who wins another Gold at Beijing Olympics 2008. Fans are lacking words how to demonstrate this amazing superstar.

Initially, this guy won Seven Gold Medals and yesterday was the day for another Gold. 7+1=8, and it was a cross over to previous record set by someone else, definitely this will be the Phelps only who’ll break this new record made by himself.

When this 23 old guy dived into the pool, United States was at no. 3, but when this 100-meter finishes, there was United States in the first place you rocks man!!

Well, I think his mom a principal of a middle school in Baltimore will have no words to say when his son touches his eighth Gold Medal, the achievement which no one can think about. Out of 8 Golds- 3 medals come in relays, 200- and 400-meter individual medleys, the 100- and 200-meter butterflies and the 200-meter freestyle.

Michael Phelps is just 23 years old and has won 14 medals throughout his glorious career, which is four more than any Olympian ever, which is more than 181 different countries that have competed at the Olympics, including Mexico (population about 108 million), India (about 1.1 billion) and Nigeria (about 120 million).

Heads off to this wonderful man, who brings laurels to his country and also to his fans who’re expecting much more Golds from this GOLD MAN…. J

Abhinav Bindra makes the History- Indians have proudy heads!!!

Honestly, i m feeling very much excited after the news 'Abhinav Bindra wins the Gold Medal in Men's 10m air rifle '. India has a proud on this achievement as it's the very first individual Olympic Gold Medal won by an Indian.

Heads off the Chandigarhias, Bindra, a 25 year old business belongs to this beautiful city known for its serene environment. Abhinav ruffed his opponents and let Athens Games champion Zhu Qinan of China to manage with Silver and Henri Hakkinen of Finland with Bronze medal.


Hey man!! Thanks a lot... Indians do have a proud on you, History is made by you... but Bindra's intentions were somrthing else. As per his words, "I was just concentrating on Shooting, making history was not in mind, well, its the best feeling of my life".

Bindra secured 10.8 in the deciding shot, whereas Hakkinen managed only 9.7 to concede the silver to Zhu, whose last shot was 10.5.

I hope other Indian Athelets will try to re-do the things... please try to repeat as every Indian wanna say once again "CHAK DE....... InDIA". ALL The Very Best....
